      Seth's Blog: The unclicking 84%

Basically, all of the clicks for all the ads online come from only 16% of the surfers, and most of them come from just 4% of all internet users.

So, if you optimize your ads for clicks, it means you're ignoring a huge population.

If your business is built around the kind of person who clicks, you win. If it isn't, you either need to not buy ads online or buy ads optimized for attention and familiarity, not clicks.

Comprehensive review of pre-release/pirated Windows 7

The official release of Windows 7 is only a few weeks away, and if you’re anything like me, you’re probably asking yourself what effect this will have on your lives.

With only pre-release versions and betas available for download, to get a copy of the actual release version, I had to turn to eBay, where leaked copies have shown up recently. $150 and two days later, a package of bubble wrapped, technological delights arrived on my doorstep. I giddily tore open the packaging to reveal the contents.

This review had me chuckling quite extensively. I recommend you read the full review, to learn about Windows 7's installation difficulties, poor hardware support, slight performance improvements but overall stability issues. ;)

A billion dollars is a lot of money right? Of course it is, but it can be difficult to visualize how big a billion actually is, compared to say, 7,800 billion.

  • Aaron Russell's posterior

I'm a web designer and web developer from the south west of England and I work for myself from home.

As my occupation suggests I'm a self-confessed nerd. But it's worth noting, when I was young and trendy I used to be a DJ. I'm far too old and boring for that now, but I still love seriously deep and groovy underground house music!

I live with my wonderful girlfriend Annika and our beautiful dog, Percy. There's little I enjoy more than lying on the sofa watching a game of football with a bottle of beer in hand. Oh, and I'm an occasional -and rubbish- Xbox 360 player.
